I was awarded a frension from Hong Kong

on the 14th February 1914, at the rate of £84. 19.6

Through an erroi on my part per annum – Jelected at that time to subscribe to the Widow an Orphans Pension Scheme at 4.fi.C. on my former salary instead of on my pension_

Now through no fault of my own I find myself in the greatest distress and my wife sich son and my self will be homeler unless I can hay in £100.0.0 by the 23rd instant.

I shall be most grateful if you would
